Bought new blood for my Dubia colony

I recently bough 105Fem 42male/supposedly 160fem nymps+40male nymphs(though I only counted nymphs 131 fem+59males...)

I noticed they seem to really small and dark in color. The adults barely reach 2in and the nymhs was described X-large so Im guessing they are about to molt into adults. Ive never seen a female below 2in in my colony and they all seem really orange.
Why are they so small? is it genetics?
would there be a problem if I mix it with my current colony?

No you should be fine. Everyone has a mix of smaller and larger females. As for the color it all depends on what part of the world they came from.

Do they have any disadvantages?
like maybe less # of babies per clutch?
shorter life span?
These guys are seriously tiny. I checked again yesterday and the males are only around 1in. The females hover around the 1-1.2in mark.

It could be the diet/temps that they were raised in. Roaches are bugs, their DNA structure is so simple that they can inbreed all day long and still be fine. DNA doesn't really change too much between pairs so you have to look at environmental factors when their is a difference between two colonies.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
