thanks everyone. I'm probably going to quit walking past the reptiles at these stores. I have a greek tortoise that I also bought as a rescue (she has 2 nails that were ripped out, pieces of shell chipped, respiratory infection) from Petsmart not long ago.

I shouldn't walk by them either... I want to take it home if it's healthy because it's so cute, or because it's sick and help it.
