I adopted a beardie off some one here on the site who was moving and he said she was a beautiful female about 14 months old. About the same age as my Iggy and I figured she would get along with him fine. I put both in the living room and he did a couple head bobs and bearded her and she bobed back it was really cute. So 1 hr passed by and decided to put them in the same viv. They slept by each other fine and I checked on them all night. When I woke up and turned on the basking light after my shower I saw Iggy on top of Zena bting her neck and she was even fighting back but just waving her arms in the air wildly. Now he bearded up and wont let her move.Zena is like very submissive and just laying flat on the bottom of the viv and not moving and Iggy is just all "Manly up". I took her out being afraid he might kill her. She seems fine and very calm just shy also. :study:

He was trying to breed her.
He may have done it.
Breeding can be a very physical thing.
For the health of your dragons. Seperate them.
Just putting this out there. Whenever you bring a new reptile into your home. They should be quarentined for 30 to 60 days to determine health. I know you got her from someone on here but its a good practice.

Its simply keeping them apart to detrimine any health issues a new reptile may have.
Its basicly to late now....lol

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
