Blue

I'm very excited to announce that Blue has started to eat his greens! On his own with out me having to bribe him! He also seems to have grown a little bit! I would say about a quarter of an inch. He is also going through his first shed since I got him!!!

Congratulations Heather...it's always such a relief when our babies eat their veggies without being tricked or handfed.

Yeah it is! And I've been kind of worried about him because he is so small and young!! I'm trying so hard not to play with him to much I don't want to hurt h im or stress him out!!

If he's starting to eat his salad for you and seems to be settling I'd think it would be okay to handle him.
Blue is your new baby right? How long have you had him now?

Yes Blue is my new baby! I've had him 2 weeks on Sunday. I've never had a beardie as small as he is so I didn't want to hurt him or stress him out to much! He is sweet though.

That is funny cause Spike ate his first little salad without any help today too!! He has it all the time in the viv but I have never seen him eat it until today!!

So congrats to Blue, I know how exciting that is!!!

Thanks! Congrats that Spike is eating his as well! I keep greens in with Blue all the time but I'm always throwing them out until today!!

I throw them out all the time too, even today there was plenty left for me to throw away after he ate what he wanted out of the bowl, I only saw him eat one bite but I am hoping he ate more when I wasn't peeking around the corner :wink: !

I put less then normal in Blue's dish and he ate it all!! I even looked to make sure he didn't kick it out of his dish like he does sometimes! and he ate most of it. I'm one proud momma!!!
