This contest was another reason why I joined as a member. The rules stated that it didn't matter on what type of dragon, yet the top prizes went to some very expensive dragons. I guess you shouldn't blame the judges for being biased since that it is what they make money off of. And was anyone else a little annoyed that photos of people with dragons won??? Like I really want to pay money for a calender to look at an old lady looking like she is scared of a dragon.
I am also confused on why three of the photos in the contest ALSO won with the same pictures in the ZooMed contest. Wouldn't submitting the photo in whatever contest first make it the property of the first contest. And wouldn't then those pictures be illegal to use for any other purpose, bound by copyright protections.

Just an FYI...my beardie Loki (the one in the grandma photo) isn't an expensive dragon. He's a "normal" bearded dragon like you see in most pet stores. Also, while I don't necessarily agree with what photos should have gotten top prizes and not (not saying mine should've), I do think it's rude to basically insult the top ones. Be happy for those who did get them. Don't be a poor sport about it and just know it was a friendly contest and maybe you can try again in the next one.

Oh I forgot to ask what you meant by a calendar? As far as I know, those photos were only in a contest to win bearded dragons as the top three prizes. They weren't in a calendar at least I know the grandma one wasn't.

My post wasn't aimed at anyone it was just in general (and I used your photo as an example, which I didn't know who had which anyhow) about who wants to buy a calendar with people they don't know especially when it is a bearded dragon calendar. I apologize if I insulted you, just a little confused since in most animal contests human's are not allowed. I didn't enter the contest although I know a lot of people that put a lot of time and effort into there pictures. And it was sicking to see that two of the top three prize winners already owned very expensive dragons (third place I couldn't even stand to see how many they already owned).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
