Blood in poop?

Heyo
Little worried, my beardie just had a nice poop and i was going to clean it up but it was some blood on the side of his water bowl after we crawled on it. It was blood, not red colored stuff and i was freaked. Im going to try and get a fecal test done soon asap if it happens again but i was just wondering if its anything im feeding him. He ate like 55 crickets yesterday and 10 mealworms. Any replies are helpful thank you

That's a lot of bugs. He could have just strained a bit which happens from time to time. Try offering some softer foods like black soldier fly larvae or silk worms. I would also offer some extra hydration by dripping water on his nose to lick up. That may help the food pass through more easily. I wouldn't be too worried unless you start seeing blood regularly.

Ive given him a few phoenix worms(black soldier larvae) he seems to like it and daily i drip water on his nose, and occasionally he'll drink from his water bowl or a cap of water. He just poooped i didnt see any blood this time, just a little red coloration but not blood. If it keeps happening i will definitely be going to the vet, thanks for the reply
