Blondie's Pringles ~ Coco, Lexi, Crash & Psycho

So the decision was completely up to Carl, because Xena was his babygirl, and I know no-one else in the world can ever replace her... but he has always wanted to raise a baby dragon, seeing as how 3 of our 4 are rescues, and adults when we took them in...

So darn if they aren't totally like, well as fresnowitte says, P-R-I-N-G-L-E-S-!

So Carl picked out his baby... it'll take a little while to name her, we have to see her personality. Welcome into our hearts, little one... almost 14 inches / 166 grams / crazy hyper personality so far ...

As soon as we got her out of the packaging, she made a bee-line for my son's leg & pancaked out, so CJ got the first real snuggles, he's my little seatwarmer:

Look at that sweet face:

111210-bg05.jpg

Ooh, soft, what's this?
111210-bg06.jpg

Yum, salad... nom nom nom...
111210-bg07.jpg

Hey, lady, I cleaned my plate, can I have more?...
111210-bg08.jpg

Oh, wait, ...
um, what else was I gonna say? ...
Oh, yeah,

There's MORE!

I had to crop that first picture, look really closely...

did you look really really close?
???
Really?

Barbara was worrying about finding this little guy a special home, and Carl fell in love with him/her too... so he's our "little guy/gal"... Quasi now looks huge, and Crash looks like Godzilla compared to these two!

So meet little guy / 60 grams / 11 inches ... so laid back, just watches everything going on, and eats and eats and eats (hand-fed salad today  )

Just a little stress going from Cali to Ohio...
111210-lg07.jpg

Bath time! This little one loves to swim already!

111210-lg09.jpg

Ooh, what's this?
111210-lg10.jpg

111210-lg11.jpg

Ooh, what's up here -- slowly progressed up the branches, then just watched us and all the activity in the room for about an hour...

I just finished updating myself with your thread and I was trying to remember where I read this until I came here to update myself on Dawn's thread. It's been a long week and I'm tired. I lost sleep last night so I hope to catch up tomorrow but we have a potluck at church this Sunday after service and Bill wants us to make a pie so he can have desert to eat as he can't eat any sugar or dairy. He's had to put himself on such a strict diet that it's costly and most people don't eat the way we do.

Just checking in to see how things are going. Have y'all warmed up yet?
It was 80 here yesterday! That doesn't bode well for summer.
Miss ya,
Sandy

thank you goonie for unlocking  I guess life took over for awhile... medical issue popped up... had surgery to remove polyp yesterday, now we wait for results. Cross your fingers for benign results, but if its anything other, we're ready to deal with that too...

Dragons are all hunkering down here for a long winter... lazy butts... will try and post pics in the next few days of everyone.

Hi Dawn, great to see you posting here again. Sending positive thoughts & vibes your way that the results will be benign & that all will be well. Bet you're pretty sore from the surgery and hopefully not in much pain.

So, all your dragons are sound asleep?

My girls are all slowing down too. Even baby Gianna had been sleeping her days away in her cave :(

Looking forward to seeing pics of your babies.

not asleep yet, but just lazy and don't want to get out of their blankies... psycho especially, but remember, we took her in 5 years ago, so she is at least 9 or 10 now, she's our little old lady.

We have been dosing her with serrapeptase, seems to be helping with her aches & pains... basically, we think she has arthritis & somewhat like a Parkinson's (we know her vision is about 50% at most, that neuro damage may have happened when she was starved nearly to death by her former owners) ~ she seems to be doing better at striking her live prey (I let her hunt on her own still, but she won't eat crix at all, has to be supers) ~ but she shakes like she's ready to have a meltdown when its worm-time... poor baby, it literally takes over 1/2 hour to feed her 6-7 supers... its a lesson in love & patience

I know what you mean about Psycho, Dawn, Lonzo is the same. He'll be 12 in April and I've had to get calcium powder to feed on his worms, his head shakes too much (it's like a constant tick and then a gulp) for me to feed him liquids, he keeps choking and then he stops breathing (yes I've become an expert on CPR). So I've had to stop giving him serrepeptase, even though he has arthritis and it was helping for a long time, but I don't want him choking. So I try to give him a long soak in the bath daily, for hydration, then calcium powder & powder vit/min on his worms. You would have laughed the first time I used the powder, I drowned the poor worms. Haven't used it for over 4 years, so it was a surprise on how fine it is. Now I've got it better under control, because Lonzo hated what I gave him last time  He thought I was an *****, so spit them right back at me.

I'm praying that your results will be benign...did they say how long it would take to get the results? Rest as much as you can, too, k?

It'll be great to get pics of your crew.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
