Blondie's Pringles ~ Coco, Lexi, Crash & Psycho

So the decision was completely up to Carl, because Xena was his babygirl, and I know no-one else in the world can ever replace her... but he has always wanted to raise a baby dragon, seeing as how 3 of our 4 are rescues, and adults when we took them in...

So darn if they aren't totally like, well as fresnowitte says, P-R-I-N-G-L-E-S-!

So Carl picked out his baby... it'll take a little while to name her, we have to see her personality. Welcome into our hearts, little one... almost 14 inches / 166 grams / crazy hyper personality so far ...

As soon as we got her out of the packaging, she made a bee-line for my son's leg & pancaked out, so CJ got the first real snuggles, he's my little seatwarmer:

Look at that sweet face:

111210-bg05.jpg

Ooh, soft, what's this?
111210-bg06.jpg

Yum, salad... nom nom nom...
111210-bg07.jpg

Hey, lady, I cleaned my plate, can I have more?...
111210-bg08.jpg

Oh, wait, ...
um, what else was I gonna say? ...
Oh, yeah,

There's MORE!

I had to crop that first picture, look really closely...

did you look really really close?
???
Really?

Barbara was worrying about finding this little guy a special home, and Carl fell in love with him/her too... so he's our "little guy/gal"... Quasi now looks huge, and Crash looks like Godzilla compared to these two!

So meet little guy / 60 grams / 11 inches ... so laid back, just watches everything going on, and eats and eats and eats (hand-fed salad today  )

111210-lg04.jpg

Just a little stress going from Cali to Ohio...
111210-lg07.jpg

Bath time! This little one loves to swim already!
111210-lg08.jpg

111210-lg09.jpg

Ooh, what's this?
111210-lg10.jpg

111210-lg11.jpg

Ooh, what's up here -- slowly progressed up the branches, then just watched us and all the activity in the room for about an hour...

kinda, not totally decided yet -- they have such different personalities! Li'l one is still being finicky with the crix, not interested at all, so we're going to try some phoenix worms and see if that whets her appetite. Big sis is a little piggie, I have no idea where she's putting all the crix she eats  Now I know why gulbrzdawn was considering farming cows when Bliggy was this young -- side o' beef for each meal!

The bigger sis, we've got it down to 3 possibly names... One being Coco because she turns so dark brown, she looks like cocoa powder when she's out of the viv... But I'm not allowed to say the other names yet...

for li'l one we're down to 4 possible names... she is just so cute & cuddly. And a watcher. She's is the perfect color of caramel drizzle when she has her happy colors on. Everytime she snuggles with Carl, she nuzzles into his neck and just goes to sleep.

She's so tiny on the big burly biker dude :love5:

We're going to shoot for Thursdays/Fridays for length & weight updates.

Carlye has a new way she does her homework now...

We must have had their temps perfect yesterday, we looked into the vivs after dinner and saw this:
Li'l sis...

Ugh, welcome to the world of baby beardies -- one day they eat like champs, the next day I cannot bribe then with chocolate! Today was frustrating with feeders, they just weren't interested... unless they saw the baby supers (after 15-20 minutes in the feeding bin then a bath)... li'l stinkers know that wormbin already! Gotta find a good hiding spot now.

So we think we officially have the bigger sis named -- Coco (she turns all sorts of chocolate colors depending on her mood... dark chocolate when warming up ... pumpkin chocolate spice cappuccino colored when basking ... super dark belgian chocolate color in the natural sunlight ... so the name just fits)

Li'l sis we're trying a possible name for a few days, to see how it fits. She had the most beautiful white creamy belly today while basking, she's such a cuddlebug.

If they give us grief eating buggies tomorrow, I'm gonna be whipping out the babyfood! (Don't make momma get out the syringe little girls!)

So Coco it is... :D I love it! :love5:

Hey Dawn worms seem to last longer in their tummies than crickets do. When I feed just crickets to them they eat 4 to 5 times a day usually...until they get burnt out on them that is. (Which could be what is going on with the lil one.) And when I add supers to the diet the feedings are much longer between. Just thinking out loud.

However I can tell you that they seem to like the chicken w/ sweet potatoes.
Often I have leftovers from feeding Zak-n-Wheezie and the babies get them as a treat.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
