Blondie's Pringles ~ Coco, Lexi, Crash & Psycho

So the decision was completely up to Carl, because Xena was his babygirl, and I know no-one else in the world can ever replace her... but he has always wanted to raise a baby dragon, seeing as how 3 of our 4 are rescues, and adults when we took them in...

So darn if they aren't totally like, well as fresnowitte says, P-R-I-N-G-L-E-S-!

So Carl picked out his baby... it'll take a little while to name her, we have to see her personality. Welcome into our hearts, little one... almost 14 inches / 166 grams / crazy hyper personality so far ...

As soon as we got her out of the packaging, she made a bee-line for my son's leg & pancaked out, so CJ got the first real snuggles, he's my little seatwarmer:

Barbara was worrying about finding this little guy a special home, and Carl fell in love with him/her too... so he's our "little guy/gal"... Quasi now looks huge, and Crash looks like Godzilla compared to these two!

So meet little guy / 60 grams / 11 inches ... so laid back, just watches everything going on, and eats and eats and eats (hand-fed salad today :mrgreen: )

Just a little stress going from Cali to Ohio...

Bath time! This little one loves to swim already!

here is Psycho's bowl... with the reluctant-to-leave dragon... I had gotten this fabric years ago, and made a sarong beachwrap for me to cover the ugly when swimming with the kids... its like a blue-jeans print, with surf boards and little pagoda huts... kinda reminds me of the old Elvis movies for some reason...

BTW, we found the last 3 leftover (big red dragonveined) beads from that set for you, and I made an black organza ribbon with seed beads with it and Carlye stole it ... that way you two have matching beads

Thanks Dawn, as soon as I have the jewelry, I'm hoping it comes in Monday & I can pick it up Tues am, as i have the day off, I will take pics & put them on your thread. Tell Carlye that I'm glad she still has a memento of that beautiful jewelry, can't wait to get it!

That quilt is beautiful, I'll be checking out your store more, there are so many wonderful things in there. I have a feeling I'll be ordering more things from you in the future as gifts. My sis is especially difficult to buy for, she prefers home made things & really doesn't like me spending $ on her. Her & her daughter's birthstone is amethyst, so will be checking into that later in the year.

The party this eve went really well, I wore a red top with the Austrian crystal (red) jewelry. The party was for my personal trainer, who is 70 years old today. She has been training with her trainer for 11 years & is handing down all the great exercises to me. I met her trainer tonight & he is very fit and young, must be in his 30's and is very proud of Gayle. She started training with him when she was 59, did so well she got her certificates for training others. He's part of her family now, so it was great to meet him. We all had a great time. There were about 35 people in all, and the best thing is it was a complete surprise, she was crying when she realized how many of us her sis had gotten together.

Thanks Morgan - that is one of about 12 baby quilts that I am sandwiching now... spring is upon us, so most are brighter cheerier colors, some are americana patriotic, and I have a patriotic snowman too with some old retired r-w-b snowman cartoon fabric I forgot about... I have been contemplating raiding the scraps stash lately too, to make some scrappy pinwheel quilts, but all those triangles can drive ya nuts after awhile... altho the 3-d ones are fun to make, and give baby some interesting texture to play with

Making "taggies" too -- but mine are a little different than what is on the market ... its a mini car-seat size, with taggies on two opposing corners, and one side of the blankie is faux chenille. They are adorable! I made a cotton one, just as a test, going to do a flannel one next to see if its harder to cut :shock:

I don't fear 'em, I just get bored with 'em after awhile ... I know 9 different ways to assemble HST's and even down to 9-degree triangles and hit the points right... but then again, on real quilts I do (the heirloom stuff) I design it as I go, I create my own pattern depending on what colors I'm working with. You saw my niece's quilt? That was the butterfly one from last summer

as soon as I get these current tops quilted (some are for my etsy, some are for our local Children's Hospital NICU unit), I am working on fininshing a curved pieced medallion, then back to my mariner's star ... not going the easy route, I'm working the 32-point star. If it works right, I've got a 64-point adaptation that I may get brave on.
