So my beardie just had a 2-day shed of all the skin on his head, he hadn't eaten salad in a few days (because we were out but gave him some tonight as part of dinner), after his shed he had a pretty big black beard that went down his neck but now its only a little black under his chin. I also recently changed his diet from phoneix worms to crickets/butterworms. I'm getting worried that he hasn't pooped and assume its because I didn't have salad to give him for a few days. How can I help him go? I gave him a twenty minute bath on tuesday and another one yesterday.

You can try gently massaging his tummy, warm baths, or get him to take a few drops of olive oil. What are his temps/lighting? Does he usually poop every day?

Ok sounds good. Sometimes a change in diet can change their bowel movements. Dont panic yet. Try gently massage circles tummy during warm soak. If that does not work you can try the olive oil. That should loosen him up.

Also, shedding can make a beardie "cranky" (black bearding and temporary loss of appetite) How old is he?

He is about 1 year old. I gave him another 20 minute bath last night with no luck but am hoping he'll go today. How do I give him olive oil?

You can also try a bit of apple (peeled and grated or finely chopped)

here is a thread that might also help you. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=97560

he pooped! :)

edit: he also pooped again today but there were undigested butterworms, i think some of the butterworms were too big for him which may have slowed things down, ill be more careful about the size of worms i give him from now on

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
