Blind Bearded Dragon?

My bearded dragon is about 5 months old. And more and more I've been noticing that I think he has trouble seein . He struggles catching crickets, when he's out roaming my room he'll run right into the wall, and when I put my finger on the glass and move it he won't look at it but if I tap it then he looks. I also have to pick him up and place him in front of his food bowl for him to know there's food there.
His balance is fine and his behavior is also perfectly normal.
He's in a 30 gallon breeder tank with a reptisun 10.0 tube uvb and a 150 watt basking bulb. Temps are measured daily with a temp gun basking area is about 100-105 and cool side about 80. He gets calcium supplement 5x a week

Both mine do that too , ie trotting right up to walls (especially the black kickboard under the kitchen cupboards) and the doors (especially Rex who is the one who wants to really get around and trots pretty quick , sometimes she'll not stop in time and bump - she's bumped into the closed door (she wanted to go through or she's bumped into a skirting board)).

Puff on the other hand is much more sedate and tends to take his time just leisurely mozy about in the main ....unless Rex is teasing him or he's feeling horny .... he's a different lizard then and can move quick..

I think its a beardie thing with poor depth perception.

They both see just fine otherwise.

Both of my guys have bumped into walls and doors as well. Seems to be an issue with things they face head on from what I've seen. When they want to focus on something they'll turn their head sideways and look down with one eye.

I never see him do that though. He shows no signs that he can see anything. Anything I put in front of him he just stares blankly off into the distance, for him to eat I have to put it in front of his face and touch his lips for him to eat it

Was he handfed before you got him ?

He might trying to tell you he wants you to handfeed him , or be might be very very lazy , or just not keen on the insects you are offering (not what he wants - believe - pet lizards can go on strike if you are offering an insect they are not keen on or are bored with eating).

If he gets about OK otherwise, his eyesight is probably normal (for a beardie).

For awhile I thought he was just lazy but he wont even look at me or anything I put in front of him unless it makes a sound or touches him. I don't know, he probably is just super lazy haha

They do seem to space out when basking - staring off into the void for ages. It's like they put their brain into neutral.

In the wild you can literally walk right up to a basking beardie on fence post or termite mound or a old tree stump and pick them up before they realise something odd is happening - it's like they are pretending to be a bit of the stump LOL.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
