Bleach or ammonia???

Whch one really kills coccidia? I could have sworn that I read on here that bleach does not kill coccidia. So the first time around with the coccidia I cleaned with ammonia. But this time the vet is telling me I probably didnt kill it in their enclosures and that I needed to use bleach this time around. So right now im doing Skooters cage with bleach. What do you guys think???

my vet also told me bleach as well...but everything i read and that ppl on here told me was ammonia or steam. i went and got a steam cleaner from walgreens for about $30 and have been using that. i also periodicaly wipe it down with diluted ammonia. he has just been off the coccidia meds for 2 weeks, so if he does his business before the vet closes today, i will take it to be re-checked....his poo definitely smells better!
also i made sure i removed everything from the cage and changing the newspaper daily. i gave him his greens on a paper towel and gave him a new cardboard box or shoe box everyday for basking, including the 2 weeks after his meds.
