Just was feeding my beardie, there was 6 crickets left in the tub, fed her all of the crickets, went downstairs to get another tub then i noticed black worms crawling around in the tub  What are these !!!, There was atleast 10 worms, dont know where they came from. I wasn't sure if they are meant to be there or have somehow got inside the tub, if they did it must of been at the shop because i keep the tubs high up in a cuboard  Please can somebody explain why there is worms  If the worms have somehow got in the tubs, should i just seal the tubs with tape? My Mum would go crazy if she saw worms in the house :?

They're the larvae of a beetle that lives with the crickets. They actually live almost entirely off of cricket poop/cricket food, and don't bother the crickets at all. Some reptiles will even eat them, too!

They're nothing to be worried about whatsoever. :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
