I adopted a 3 year old beardie a couple of days ago and his previous owner said he has never had a bath or given water (he said he got all his water from his food) :banghead: . Well I started trying to give him water off his nose he didn't take it at first but the next day he did and when his tongue was out I saw that it was white on the end and in between the split it was black and I want to say behind the split it look maybe looked kind of yellow? I am positive that this does not look normal! I want everything to be alright so if I need to take him to a vet or something I would like advice. I am just worried, his tongue is freaking me out!

That doesn't seem right at all. I definitely would take him to the vet and report whomever you got this beardie from for animal abuse. What a j*rk he/she must have been! Beardies NEED water! ARGH :angry5:

The white tip part, if it's just a slight hint of white, is normal. The black and yellow is not normal at all.
