Black scab? On beardies mouth *pic*

Its been on his mouth for a couple weeks now. I had him in an outside enclosure daily when it was hot out and thought at first it was dirt but it never washed off. It seems like his scales there are gone and its just the dark spot. Hes eatint fine... active.. couldn't find much online about what it is or what could be the cause

I wonder if he scraped it against something and it is scabbing. Does it appear to be scab like in texture? Has the dark area spread?
