black like tartar on a few teeth

Just as the title, our lil guy has what looks like black tartar on his far back teeth on his bottom jaw. I mean it really just looks like dirt or something, not alot just a few specks on the bottom of the tooth near the gum. He is eating fine, altho refusing dubia(which he did love before), but eats crix, supers, silkworms, hormworms, sometimes eats reptiworms and a lil salad every day. I just dont know if there are health concerns I should know of, or watch out for with these symtoms. The spots have been there for a lil over a week, not spreading or anything. Any advice or info would be great. Thx.

How old is he? That can be the sign of the beginning of mouth rot. It could also just be food. Keep and eye on it - if it persists, he may need to see a vet.

He's around 5-6 months old, like 18". Hes housed perfectly Thanks to this site, fixed that back in Oct when we got him. If it was mouth rot, why would that happen? and how would I treat it? Unfortunatly if I would need a herp vet, the closest one is like 1hr45min away. Im hoping its just food, as otherwise he is happy,healthy, active and hungry. He "might" have pinworms, but Im waiting till he is at least 6months to do a fecal, and/or treat him for it.
