Carlos has an outside enclosure, I leave him there for a few hours most days, but I have noticed there are a quite a few black ants in there, I have seen a couple crawl over him before so I was wondering if there is a natural way to deter them without harming Carlos?

Diatometric earth, it is the same fine white powder that is used in a diatom filter for aquariums. It is harmless to all animals except insects. The get it on them and the powder acts like a wrecking crew and cuts their joints apart, as far as I know segmented insects are the only ones it will effect. It is non toxic.
Sprinkle it around your dragons enclosure and let it work.

Are you leaving food for Carlos in the outdoor enclosure when she's in it ?

..... this is likely attracting the ants.

You could refrain from putting her in for few weeks and treat the ant issue with Borax - to kill off the ant nest where they are coming from. see http://tipnut.com/ant-killer/ , I've used antiant baits based on Borax and they work. but need a few weeks to kill off the colony as new worker ants are hatching all the time for a while after the queen has been killed.

Diatometric earth, is also what they use in "dry powder fire extinguishers" and, an ingredient in borax I believe.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
