Black and Yellow

I have a translucent beauty but I am curious about her colors. I always see these awesome pics of trans, so colorful, sometimes with a black beard. Are they like that ALL the time?

My girl for the most part will show some color, but her belly is usually a dingy color. If I put her in the tub or her outdoor cage for a while, then try to come back and take her out, she will get all worked up. Really wiggly with a black beard, and her colors look sooooo amazing. Orange, yellow, green, blue... Ill stare at her for a while, but when I put her back in either cage, she goes "dingy" again, still showing color, but nothing like she can. Is this normal for a translucent? To really only show ALOT of color when they are fired up?

Thats normal for most dragons, not just trans.

I was starting to get alittle worried. I see oics of breeder dragons, and they are just so gorgeous all the time. They must wait for them to get colorful before they snap that shot.

yes, most breeders take pics when the dragons are fired up. There are a few morphs that stay colorful all the time but many change depending on mood or temps.
