Bigger tank, heating problem

Hey guys,
I just moved my beardie to a 55 gallon tank that is 21 inches tall, 48 inches long, and 13 inches wide.
I have the 10.0 UVB light. It is a T8 15 watts. mounded inside the tank
I have the 100w zoo med basking spot lamp. sitting on the lid.

Since moving him yesterday, I am having a hard time getting his temps high enough. His basking spot is around 90 degrees, too cold.
I have a branch that goes close to the lamp but I feel like its too steep for him to comfortably go up there.

I plan on going to the pet store today to see if they have a higher wattage bulb, and/or a way to mount the light inside the tank.

Any other suggestions?
I'm so worried.

With those distances, you may need more powerful lighting. If you're keeping the T8, I'd set it up so it's about 6'' above the main basking spot. Otherwise I'd get a T5 and put that on top. The 100w may not be powerful enough so I'd switch to the 150w ZooMed and see how that does. I keep that one about 20'' above the bottom of the tank and it works nicely.

Thanks, i went and got a 150w bulb and built a platform for his basking spot with covered bricks.
The temps are good now
