New camera. Same brand, same price as the old one, but wow it's nice. Man cameras have changed. John is insanely happy. So, hurray for 10 megapixel pics! It's so purdy...
First thing I did was tell him to take a video of Loki doing something that scared me half to death the first time he did it. I really thought I was gonna lose fingertips.
He finally started going into his hut, and of course, only when he was grumpy/hungry. So I wanted to lure him out with a roach. But, he snatched it from me before I realized he'd moved. So, yeah, can't get him to come out that easy. But, we did get a nice video of it.
He's really lived up to his name. He's a black hole, he'll eat everything in sight. He loves to get into trouble, he's stubborn and fussy. He's got no problem head bobbing at his reflection. Absolutely despises baths, loves heights (oh, my poor heart...). In essence, he's the opposite of Nexus. But, they're both so lovable.
You really can't just have one. lol

Wow, he really thinks with his stomach! I often hand feed him, and he's extremely accurate with his aim. And sometimes, I'll drop one and he'll loose track, and I'll point to it and he'll grab it right away.
So, yesterday, I fed him a huge salad, and about 14 roaches. So, he was by no means starved. But one roach was under his foot, and I tried to get it. Everytime my finger when close to him he tried to eat it. Eventually, I managed to move him and he got it. So, I had John grab the camera. I wouldn't even tell him what he was gonna see, just that he had to see it. So, don't mind our chatting. It's big, but quite amusing. BTW, he got even more roaches. He gave Buddha a run for his money after that.
