Bearded dragons have evolved to survive in the arid interior of Australia where they rarely see rain , flowing water or standing water (unless it's seeps, springs and artesian (manmade bores). They get all their moisture from their food , and sometimes if there is fog they will get moisture in the early morning from the dew they find on glasses.
I supplement their food hydration by dripping water on my beardies' snouts and letting it drain to their lips , if they are thirsty they swallow the water that accumulates in their mouth.
