Best time to move dragon?

I have gotten a larger enclosure for my beardie Charmander and it's all ready for him now. He's relatively new (I've had him for a month) and I'm hoping to avoid relocation stress, especially going off food. When would be the best time to move him? Morning? After eating? Before bed? Or does it matter? Thanks!

Totally based on my own opinions but it would do so in the morning. If you feed in enclosure I would feed after putting in new enclosure. If you feed outside of enclosure I would feed them and then put them in new enclosure. I hadn't thought much about this before you posted and I will be moving my beardie in the next few days when the new enclosure I built is ready.

Thanks for your advice! I ended up giving him his first meal in the old tank, giving him a few hours, then moving him to his new tank before his second meal. He ate his second meal in the new tank, and it seems we've had little or no relocation stress as he ate both meals today as well. He seems to be enjoying the extra room ?
