Best staple feeder-already breed dubias but what else???

I want to find a healthy staple feeder to mix in with my established dubia colony. Superworms seem cheap and easy but arent the healthiest. I like butterworms and looking at most nutrition charts they have low fat and high calcium but many people say they make beardies obese. Any truth to this or BS? I love my dubias but they dont put up much of a chase-they just hide. Whats the next best roach to breed other then dubias? I buy hornworms but there protein level is LOW and juvi's need the higher protein so I only buy occasionally. Silkworms seem great but many people say there beardies don't like them and they are a pain in the ass to care for. Any ideas? Thanks for the help! Isaac

I also breed Dubias and haven't found a second staple feeder. I don't know if one exists, besides crickets, that is low in cost or easy to breed to make it as a staple. Superworms are an option I don't want to risk.

I doubt another roach family would add any significant nutritional variety, but maybe someone else can shed some light on that.

Phoenix Worms would be a good choice to add to the discussion, but they are small and expensive if you priced them per pound. I've never tried butterworms, but I noticed that they have a better percentage of fat to protein than PWs, and I've never heard anyone say that PWs are fattening.

Maybe it's not so bad to have just one staple and to use a variety of feeders as a supplement.

Superworms are an option I don't want to risk.

I use superworms from Mulberry Farms along with Phoenix Worms.
Could you elaborate on the "risks"?

I was referring to just one risk, and that's the risk of impaction. We bought our beardie from someone who did not give him proper care and I believe he has reached his maximum length (just under 16 inches).
