Best Plants for the Enclosure????

Hello everyone! I really want to make my pet feel at home as much as possible and I want his enclosure to provide lots of stimulation. I wanted to add some plants and was wondering what is recommended. I want to be sure nothing I put in there he will eat or get sick from of course, and would love any tips! I plan on buying the plants sometime today.
