Ok so instead of always searching the web every week to try and find the cheapest places to buy bugs for my little corner of the world, I decided to post the best web sites I have used.

First off I live in Florida

http://www.coastalsilkworms.com/store/ (east) I have gotten hornworms and silkworms from here. I believe they are based in Fl so the shipping is cheap for me. I have never had a problem with them.

http://www.carolinacrickets.com/ I have gotten crickets and superworms from this web site. My bugs always arrived alive and cheap shipping.

http://www.elliotsbutterworms.com/ There butterworms were the cheapest but they have raised their prices a little. The shipping is free and I have had 1 shipment arrive dead and they replaced them for me with no problem.

http://beardeddragon.co/ They are also in Fl so shipping is fast. I have gotten small supers from them for my leo, it is one of the only places I could find near me that sold different sizes. 100 for only $5

http://reptiworm.com/ I have gotten reptiworms from them, shipping is only 4.99.

http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/ I have gotten reptiworms, hornworms, butterworms and wax worms from them. They are further away but their shipping was only $10 on a $68 order for me and they sell almost every bug you want. The owner called me to ask me if I wanted to her to ship out my bugs even though the weather was 94 there. So they have good costumer service.

If anyone else wants to post what websites they use for their area that would be really great!

*I am in no way connected to any of these sites.

I just ordered from premiumcrickets.com...I believe they are out of MS. I live in WI. The shipping wasn't too bad.

i do almost all of my ordering off of georgiacrickets.com its a sister company of preminumcrickets.com I live in North Georgia so the shipping is super cheap for me. I overnight all my shipments and i usually get them by 9:30am. If you live in GA I highly recommend them. I have also done some business with mulberry farms but they are a long ways away from GA. LOL

There used to be a company a few years back that shipped to WI, MI, and I think MN for free...I think they were out of MI?? I can't remember the name of them...does anyone remember them? I wish I could remember...the shipping costs is what kills me, it costs more to ship the insects almost than it does to buy them! lol.

I used Mulberry Farms and was very happy with their crickets and their customer service. http://www.mulberryfarms.com I ordered 500 that went well. So I ordered 1,000. Well the shipping took a little longer to get to Alaska, sometimes our mail does that. So the crickets ate through the box a bit and about 500 escaped (poor postal workers along the way) so I tried to call them, no answer but they did say please leave an email on the voice recording. Which I did. I sent an email, very nicely worded. They wrote me back asked me how many I had used. I told her how many and then sent pics of my tank. She was very kind and really did a great job on my next order making sure that I was taken care of. I have virtually very LITTLE die off on my crickets. In fact I am pretty impressed with it. I also buy their silkworms, Phoenix worms now and then when I don't want to buy a LOT, and micro supers.

I also use http://www.phoenixworm.com and am looking at ordering the zoo cups, they are really the most economical.

Also am looking around for dubia as feeders, including ones here. I will try at least one of the ones here on the forum too I really liked what he had to say about his dubia. I did find a sweet mom and pop operation called West Coast Roaches who have fun auctions on Facebook. http://www.westcoastroaches.com/

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
