Ok... Yoshi is 8ish months old. Crix are getting expensive. What else can I feed him that would last longer and/or be cheaper? I paid 25 bucks for a box of 1000 at a locally owned pet store and I swear there were only like 300 in the box. NOT. HAPPY. :angry5: Any ideas on the best place to buy from as well? I don't have much money.

I paid a little over $80 for 5000 reptiworms, including shipping. I know that's a lot, but that's 3 months worth of food - Wave is going through 50-60 a day, so that's 4500-5400 in 90 days. Since that averages out to about $25/month on food, that seems a lot better than having to spend 10 cents apiece on crickets (at our local Petsmart) or having to order crickets by mail, which might be cheaper but comes with a lot more hassles - primarily, how quickly they grow too big for little Wave, so I have to order again and again to get the right size. The reptiworms can be kept dormant.

...I'm a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig fan of the reptiworms. Cult of the worm!

But if you can find $80 to get the supply, and have a place to keep them cool enough that they'll stay dormant (I know people generally say 55-60 degrees; I've got mine at 50 in a dorm-size refrigerator, and they've done fine), then that's a very cost-effective option. And they seem very popular with the dragons, too!

I would have to agree with Gail.... the supers are by far the easiest and cheapest feeder to keep. Of course, you would have to get the apropriate sized ones for your little guy. You could try this site http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/
I noticed Linda has postings in the For Sale forum for her worms. She has some great deals on worms and value packs too! With the value packs you can try a variety of worms to see which ones your beardie likes. I have been getting my worms from her for a while now.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
