Hi guys I have two bearded dragons. I posted before in August but that's when I was stressed and had no idea what I was doing. I've gotten better I believe...yet here I am lol. I have a question: One of my beardies always has stripes on his belly when he's in his cage under his basking light, i know those means stress. Is his lights too hot for him or is something bothering him? When I take him out they go right away. The same for my other beardie she likes going out side but she'll get two stripes on her sides when she's first out but that's it. She doesn't seem stressed she'll still run around and be active and eat snacks and such.

It's likely normal patterning.
When it comes to stress I look more at behavior than color. It is true bearded dragons do have color changes when in distress...but ALL color changes are not because of stress. It can be perfectly normal.

Eventually I hope the term "stress marks" gets abolished...I'm working hard at making it so :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
