I have two about six week old beardies. They're almost always side by side and sometimes lay on each other. Is this normal? Also sometimes will stand up at the side of the tank on they're back legs and kind of scratch at the tank like he or she is trying to get out. Is this normal? What do these behaviors mean?

Lying on Top of Each Other
This may look like your bearded dragons are getting along and are great companions, but it's actually a sign of dominance. In the animal kingdom it is the survival of the fittest, and bearded dragons need UV rays to remain healthy. So the dominate bearded dragon will always try to get as many UV rays as possible

Bearded dragons are solitary animals. you will want to separate them. Keeping them together can result in serious injury.

If you do plan on keeping both together you will likely need a very large enclosure with multiple basking areas, both UVB and heat, plus lots of hides. you are the keeper so its your call, just do what you can to make them comfortable.
