Does anybody else put their beardie to bed like they would a child my Kiki has to be cuddled up in his blankie and have his head stroked till he falls asleep if I don't do this I get major evils even if I have to stop for a few seconds
Then when he's sleeping I creep over to his viv and put him to bed wrapped up in an old t-shirt if he realises what's going on he will cling on like Velcro and I have to start the whole process again if i dont and just put him back he will stand up against the glass and just stare at me till i give in lol

What a mug I am but look at this face ..... Who needs kids hey!

sometimes i hold mr dargon until he falls asleep. it's hard to get up when they look like that. and yeah, once he realizes i'm putting him back he fights me.

my youngest will climb right into her bed and tuck herself in though. (they both sleep in a shoebox)

My Sunny climbs up on her hammock when she is ready for her night time snuggles. I take her in to the bedroom to watch tv with her until she falls asleep on me while i pet her back and play with her tail. After she's asleep I wrap her in her favorite pink blankie and snuggle her in between the pillows where she sleeps most of the night until my boyfriend moves her back in to her cage. Soooo spoiled! She waits for me in the morning to take her out of her blankie and let her warm up on me for a bit while I make the morning salads!!! I love her to pieces!!

Draco goes to sleep on my chest every night and then I put him in his home and cover him with his blankie :) He's so spoiled that I make my 6 yr. old(human) be quiet until he's asleep!!

Figment falls asleep cuddling on my husband's shoulder almost every night. When he has to work, my son sometimes cuddles up with Figment until they both fall asleep. So cute. I need a picture of that one. But if no one cuddles with him, he really doesn't seem to mind. He finds a good place to tuck himself in.

Fluffy has no routine at all. She doesn't need one. She is so completely and thoroughly spoiled rotten in every other way that I refuse to let her get into a sleep routine too. As it is, she refuses all insects except hornworms and superworms. I don't need her refusing to sleep too.

And Crystal will be coming home with us on May 13. She will be about 7 weeks old and I'm sure my son will get her into one heck of a routine. I see much sheet washing in my future because I think that if he is home from school she will be on his bed.

Aw, that's a 'make me tear up' pic. Just lovely. My Beardie baby likes his plastic log for night time sleeping, but he loves his baths so much that he falls asleep in them! I then spend a good hour holding him in a warm towel while he power naps. They're such sweet little creatures.

I used to do the same with Pookie when he was a juvie. If I even dared to pause for a micro second while stroking his back, he'd wake up and look up at me with one opened eye.
Now, if he's not asleep on his ladder, he's on my laptop and then I'm not allowed to make a sound or movement, or I'd get the stink eye.

Redrock used to leave one claw from one foot on my shirt, unwilling to take it off my shirt, like velcro, but with her eyes closed as if she's asleep. Now, Goldie and Rosie try the same thing and Goldie was only with us for a few days when Redrock fatally injured herself and Rosie only came home with us about 3 weeks after Redrock's death. So none of them could have learned this from her.

Puff gets wrapped in her soft pink blanket and held till she goes to sleep every night. Then usually I hold her for another hour or two before I lay her wrapped in her blankie back in her viv. I don't even know if she would go to sleep on her own,,never thought to try it, I like holding her, and so does my husband so she gets spoiled.

Jango hasn't snuggled with me yet.. as soon as his lights are off he goes right to where he's gonna sleep for the night.. either in his "tree" or on his log.. today while I had him out, I let him run around my bedroom.. he wanted to go under the bed but there is so much stuff under there I was afraid he'd get lost so I wouldn't let him.. I had a blanket infront of the dresser so he couldn't get under it and he kept trying to dig his way under it.. I think he was trying to find a good spot to sleep because I picked him up and stood up.. he then proceeded to climb onto my dresser where he crawled between a shirt and the CD player and went to sleep.. tonight I put a "blankie" (old dishcloth) in his terrarium thinking he'd like to crawl under it but he just looked at it and climbed up on his log.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
