hope i remembered how to do this right. you can see the end of his tail (sortof) i tried to get a close up today and i couldn't get it to turn out and Beauf wasn't cooperating (he kept insisting on climbing on my head)

That is a great picture of him. His tail is darker on the end. It looks viable though. Just watch it closely though to make sure it is not harboring any infection in there.
He is a nice looking dragon, he is smiling!
Did he eat well today?

he seems to be eating well everyday lately!! he loves that log when he was a baby and he fit on it that was his basking log, he loves it and i am not sure how much longer he'll fit but he sure tries still. i check his tail everyday and i am still putting the neo on it daily after his bath (he insists on that everyday too!) One more question, my sister is the produce manager in town, she has tons of natural herbs that they throw out everyweek just because they are out of date and they are still good,( i take them) is there a list anywhere on here of things they can and absolutly can't have? i have looked and i can't seem to find one thorough enough one for me.

Hello,

He will probably outgrow that log, but that is ok. Just keep a good watch on that tail. Continue with the neosporin treatments daily as well.
He actually likes his baths? Wow that is great.
How old of produce are you referring to? As long as they are not slimy they should be good for a little bit after the period of time they are throwing them out.

I was just reading the first page down below where I posted earlier that your reptiglo 10 was a coil. Did you replace it with the reptisun 10 tube uvb? I hope you didn't get another coil because all of the coils are junk. The only fluorescent uvb's that are good are these (tubes only) Reptisun10, reptisun 5 then the reptiglo 8 if you can find it.

so beauford has been taking his liquid calcium for a week now two days before they got here he was 318 grams i weighed him earlier today and he was exactly 350. his apetite is great, the color on his tail is lots better, he lick his calcium out of the syringe for me and he seems to enjoy it. My next question is about the liquid vitamins (the vitamin b complex) that says to mix with his veggies every few days, he won't touch the veggies that it is on. he will take a drop out of the dropper as it is apple flavored, is that safe to do, or does it need to be mixed in his veggies??

Great that Beuford is doing much better now!!
That is fine to let him drink the liquid vitamins without dripping them onto the veggies. If he likes the flavor he can have them straight.
Is he eating any veggies right now?

yeah he seems to be eating most of them every day, although he picks out his vegetables and fruits in the morning and afternoon he eats his greens. He seems to have decided he likes crickets better that superworms now, which is really convenient since i just recieved an order of 600 supers. :? I weighed him again last night and he is up to 348 grams. he seems to be growing like crazy now. I haven't seen him bite his tail at all and he seems to be alot more active. He could see me sitting near his cage this morning and he will come to the edge and smack the glass until you pick him up or let him out, he came blasting out scarey fast and stopped and looked at me. i have a 5 gallon tank across the room with his supers in it and he he stretched all four legs as tall as they would go and put his head straight out level with his body and stalked over to it like he owns the place....it was actually pretty funny seeing him do that. He seems to be doing great. i just built him a new viv and it is almost level with the ground, so he is a little upset that he can't see the tv very well, but he will get over it. A lizard can only watch so many cartoons in a day... :wink:

Oh poor Beauford can't see his cartoons now?
At least he is eating his greens & veggies now though. You know, the superworms live a long time, so no worries he will go back to superworms again. I am happy he is not biting his tail anymore.
It sounds like he is doing much better now!
So he wants out alot too? Well, that is ok, he is feeling good. Let us know if you need anything!

beaufords new update: on february 4th Beauf was 318 grams, he has been taking his liquid calcium and his vitamins (apple flavored which he now hates) eating all his greens real well and has his off days with his bugs. His tail looks awesome compared to how it was looking, the color is great and he quit biting it (not sure if he wanted to or he is too fat to catch it,but at the width where it is missing compared to his brothers, he is missing about 4 1/2 inches which would put him at aprox 22 inches (really 17 1/2 with out his tail end) which isn't bad and he now weighs 412 grams!! so, thanks so much for all the super helpful info, beauford and me really appreciated it!!
