Hey I will start off with at the moment with I have another post in the Beardie ER that people are responding to daily for about a week now called " Both my beardys eyes are swollen shut & leaking help!!! " Which has alotttttttt to do with this topic & post, but its mostly about the infection in her eyes because I just realized she had stroke symptoms the other day.
But quickly, over week ago I noticed 1 her eyes were swelling, it ended up getting HUGE and swelling shut. It then went to her other eye, which didnt swell but is constantly shut and blue & my beardy Empress, she doesnt open them at all. She cant even open the bad right eye even if she wanted to & when she opens her left eye it has that skin or goo they use to protect there eyes when its bothering them over it. Both eyes leak. But I wanted to mention this because all of this kind of goes hand to hand on with this post
. & shes been like this now for over a week which I got antibiotics from the vet which is Baystril Solution 10cc, I give her 0.2cc once a day syringe fed. I also just started using Raw Honey which very well none people on here told me to do & did research and it seems to work. I rub it around her eyes & even get alittle inside her eyes also putting it on 1side of her mouth.
Anyways about the stroke. I noticed the other day she was leaning her head to 1 side, with 1eye pointing directly at the ground and other eye high in the sky like completely sideways. & I thought that was weird for her. & in the beginning of all this with her eyes she was able to walk across her tank slowly feeling around and will sometimes open up the eye thats not swollen just to see for a quick sec. Then few days ago I noticed she was walking funny like she was struggling. & now its like shes paralyzed on her right side. When she tries to move she just goes in a complete circle. I have a video ill post. Seems like she can barely move her right side. I see her using her front right arm but she struggles to and seems like she cant use it quick enough to properly move, and her back right leg seems like it just drags along and when i grab it to move it its completely limb like shes not tightening it like they would usually do. Because of her eyes she hasnt eaten a stable meal in almost 2weeks. But people r telling me not to worry about food that much because there wild animals they can survive without food for long periods of times, but I do syringe feed her babyfood everyday. Which im gonna do every other day because I do soo much with her once she warms up in the morning and Im probably stressing her out like crazy grabbing her mouth and forcing it open because she bites down. So for now on Im keeping her in her tank to get rest & anything I need do for her will be in the tank for she doesnt get moved as much.
Now Im kinda repeating myself with this post because my other post I say all this in. But I wanted to make it for the fact you can see in the title its about a stroke, so maybe someone who has had the same experience will give there knowledge for the fact I only have 2ppl commenting on my other one, but there the GREATEST people and there soooo smart & nice, there probably read this one to ahah (hi guys ). SO figured the more knowledge I can get the better. Also, I know the best bet is the Vet. trussst me if I had the $$ she woulda been to the vet every single day this week just to be safe. But Im broke at the moment to point that we barely have food, Im wasting every little penny I come around to on Empress as it is. People have said there is a chance if shes taken care of properly that she will get better on her own and be AOK. But if by next Friday theres no dramatic changes(there has been changes with her eyes but im talking about her moving, ride side, lip, things do with the stroke), then Im going to beg for $$ from whom ever I can to get her a Vet visit. Luckily the vet I see is cool so we kind of did and over the phone interview about her and he prescribed medicine to us but thats when it was jusssst about her eyes.
Just wanna know if anyone had this happen to them before and if the beardy made it or passed, and what exactly they did for it etc etc. The hole routine you did.

You can see how shes pretty much using just her front left arm. Its soo sad I been crying daily over this thinking its all my fault. Its either because of a random infection, the UVB (was using a coil like a retard), or her scratching her eye getting it infected.
