Beardies health and growth

I have 4 dragons which are all Atadenovirus positive. Two of them gave me a lot of stress and worry when they first came to me health-wise. I have always wondered what weight, and length was "normal" to make sure they are at the right size for their age. Everyone has been doing well now, no parasites, no force feedings, etc.

I weigh them almost every day and have pics throughout their development. I have a chart where I document their information so I can be on top of any health issues (paranoid!!)

I wanted to post their info and pics when they first came and how they are now to show that it is worth all the stress and worry when you have a sick beardie and that it can pay off.

Here is the Chart. I hope you can see it as the numbers seem to be small.


Here is Konner at his first vet visit after I'd had him for almost two weeks. The vet is trying to get him to eat. He wouldn't eat nor gain weight. This is when I first heard of ADV. I got him on 12/14/13 and he was guesstimated to be 6 weeks He was from Petsmart

Here is Kaden I got from a breeder he looked much healthier even though he is positive (I had everyone tested after I found out about Konner). Here is is in the packaging he was shipped to me in! I had to have him as he was hatched on my birthday 2/5/14!!

Here is Kacey who I made the mistake of buying from a big online seller. she/he was estimated to have a hatch date of 3/5/14 here she is right after arriving from shipping:

and here is my last, a girl (?) Kelis. She came from the breeder I used for Kaden. She has a definite hatch date the same as the guessed one for Kacey. Here she is right out of the shipping packaging:

It would be nice to see if others of you have pictures of your babies who have done well while/after being sick or who are hanging in there.
I just want to say keep up the hard work if your baby is sick it is always worth it!

Thanks I'm thinking until they get grown I need to be working at home because they miss their personal servant when I'm gone!! :lol:
