Beardies Head Turned White?!??

Idk exactly whats going on but Im thinking it may be just shedding. Her head has lost its color along with her body but her legs are still colored and up to a point on her tail its white then turns to naturl colors agian, almost as if its the edge of where her skin sheds to, im not sure that ive noticed her color fade in previous sheds but i never really caught her when she did shed before. this time it seems like shes about to but i just want to be sure, any info could help. thanks =]

I'm curious about this too - my Baz's head has turned a somewhat waxy pale color, even after letting him bask in natural light for a while. Maybe a shed coming on? I hope?

Pictures would be helpful, but it sounds like a shed. Unlike my Leo, Beards do not necessarily shed their whole body at once, so you'll see this regularly where one leg, or all 4 legs, just the body sheds.

It sounds like she's getting ready for a full body shed.

One of my girls is going through the same thing, where her entire body, neck, butt, 2/3 of her tail, and chin/cheeks are turning a translucent color.

Ok cool, as long as its not a serious issue. ive just never seen her do it before but if they shed parts of there bodies at different times then it must be time for a full body shed. Thanks guys =]

I wouldnt worry at all D:

My boy has just had the same thing, over the course of 4 weeks he has shed his ful 20" frame, and it all started with the waxlike look on his head and lips. Ironically, his head was the last part to fully shed even though it was the first to go white :|
