Beardies Ear Membrane Popped out!?

My Bearded Dragon, Ozzy, has started to shed today. Lately i have noticed that the flap of skin that protects the ear has been opening up around the sides. At first i thought it was a shed, but then i noticed another flap of skin behind it that looks more like a piece of shed skin pushing his membrane out, now im getting kind of worried. I will try to posta picture but im not sure if i can. I have bathed him many times these past weeks and i honestly couldnt even tell you the last time he shed. Anyways, just looking for some pointers, im not sure if its even an emergency but i can tell you hes at least 8-10 years old

False alarm. I was really worried though, as i was trying to get a picture his ear plug came out. Turns out it was just a shed, but did indeed look more like his membrane popping out. Thanks for your attention.

I rescued a dragon with severe MBD that was a total mess, and he had a retained shed in his ear. It freaked me out, too, because I knew not to pull at it or try to get it out, but since I had just got him and he was so neglected I was worried about how thick it looked. Within a week it came out on its own and he looks perfectly normal. It's still mysterious territory for me, the actual inner ear part. :shock:
