Beardies and attachments...

I was just wondering does anyone have a dragon that attaches to a certain object? Mine has what the best way I can describe it is a security blanket. If we have to travel in the car or to an unfamiliar location the blanket has to be with him, he won't sleep unless his blanket is in his tank. He usually curls up in, on or under it as well. If we travel without it he will refuse to sleep and will puff up and refuse to calm down. During winter I lost my electric in a snow storm and had to relocate him to another house and I forgot his blanket, I will NEVER do that again. He puffed up and thrashed, and refused to calm down until we went back and got his blanket.

Is this normal? Does anyone else have a dragon who is attached to an object like this?
