Beardie won’t open his eye!

I woke up today and my beardie won’t open one of his eyes. He opens it for a little and shuts it again. I gave him a soak to see if he just needed to wake up but he’s still shutting it. I don’t see any swelling/signs of mites. I do see some sort of lining maybe towards his tear duct that I don’t see on his other eye however it’s very slight. I was able to get pictures in the moment he would open his eye. Does his eye look injured? What should I do I offered him food and water which he took.

He doesn’t have any loose substrates. His tank is cool side 80 basking 100 on a t8 uvb bulb 10.0
I ordered some reptirinse but it won’t be here for 2 days.

You can use regular saline solution ---- does he have maybe shed that is still stuck from his last shedding ? I dont see any injuries either --- your T 8 is inside the tank and decor piece is 8-10 inches from it?

His t8 is inside his tank and about 12 in from the decor. Should I move it closer? Everything I read said to use regular saline solution without any preservatives but I got some distilled water so I’m going to try to make my own. I’m really hoping it’s just shed, he’s starting to shed under his chin.

Try and get it 8-10 w/ no plastic cover over the bulb--- it needs to be exposed
