Hey Tracie,
there seems to be a little improvement...still not eating like she should but I'm hoping with somethings i picked up that'll help and I got some crickets going to try those and see if those interest him more.

That is great to hear there is a little improvement. His appetite should pick up as soon as his leg starts feeling better.
Is he basking regularly too?

he's stil basking...I've upped the heat in his/her tank but for the last four days or so nutmeg hasn't eaten and it looked like leg was getting worse so I called the vet today to take her back instead of waiting until saturday do see if something else could be causing her injury such as a broken limb. Unless that and being rather lathargic is part of the healing process? I'll let you know how it goes today and thanks again for your help and concern.

I went with her today to take Nutmeg to the vet. He gave her two shots, one with just supplements, twin correct me if im wrong, and another just to re-hydrate her. and ya know what? by the time we got back to my house and she was ready to head home Nutmeg was perky!! She/he was holding her/himself up, still on her/his wrist but hopefully that'll get better too, and looking around bright eyed. AAAANNNDDD Nutmeg's colors are coming in nicely!! Wish I could have gotten a picture to show, but I'm confident shes/hes on the mend!!

Twin you are correct those are the shots the doctor gave her/him and once we got home she/he ate three meal worms. I take her/him back first thing wensday morning so please keep your fingers crossed.

Hello Lilly,

So Nutmeg is getting better slowly now?
I hope her appetite keeps improving as well. You can post new pictures of her when you can.
They probably gave her a vitamin booster with extra fluids.
It sounds like she is feeling better if her colors are looking good now.
Keep us posted on her!

yes shes slowly healing i take her back first thing tomorrow. He/she seems a little more active and having that beardietude they are known for...although I'm not sure if i should as this on another post but is it normal for them to still be awake after the lights are shut off? my only theroy is that it hasn't cooled off enough for her to be comfertable but anyways I'll let you know how the visit goes in the morning.

Great! Let us know how things go at the vets. I am happy to hear she is getting her little beardie attitude back slowly.
Nutmeg fits her personality I am sure! Hopefully her leg is feeling better.

Hey Tracie,
The doctor gave her some more fulids, which made her mad at being poked. i take her back next week for more treatment and hopefully a clear idea of what is wrong. when i was putting her back in his tank i felt slight pressure from her claws on the hurt arm which to me is a good sign so fingers crossed.

for those of you who were following nutmeg's story i regret to inform you that she passed away thrusday afternoon.

I am so sorry that you lost Nutmeg, that is so hard to deal with. It makes it even harder when you don't have answers as to what was going on. You tried everything you could to make him/her better, that is for sure.
