Thank you so much Tracie and everyone else Puff seems to be happy I took him out and he was running all sideways it was preety funny lol But atleast he is movin even if it is sideways. I noticed something else when Puff is sitting in his basking spot his mouth is slightly open. Any ideas why he would do this? Does it have to do with him being too hot or is it just a beardie thing?

Hello!

Great that Puff is doing pretty well & seems happy right now. Hopefully he will begin to move a little bit better then.
Well, how long does he keep his mouth open, constantly or just every so often? They gape which is basically their way of panting to help them cool off.
Are the temperatures in the range of 95-110?

Right now the cool side is around 80 the middle is around 90 and the basking spot is 100. He only had his mouth open like that yesterday, today he is sittin in the same spot with his mouth closed so i guess hes fine lol I started givin him crickets again insted of wax worms and Puff chased them all around He is walkin all sideways tho its kinda funny to watch

The temperatures are fine now! So, he is not gaping anymore now that you have adjusted the temperatures on the cooler end?
At least he is eating & is pretty active too. I hope that he continues to get better for you, on a daily basis.
Is he liking his crickets?

Yes he loves the crickets he seems to have frogotten all about wax worms thank god! And everything is ok with him except my friend came over today that hasnt seem him in a week or two and she said that he looks more bent Like in the video he just has one curve on his upper back, but now he has that curve and his tail is curving as well. He still moves around and everything but idk if he gettin worse I hope not. All he does is walk sideways now is that weird? Anyone else beerdie ever walk sideways?

Hello,

Great he has somewhat forgotten about the wax worms & is eating crickets now. So, at least his appetite is still pretty good right now.
Is he hydrated enough? Did you get some liquid calcium to begin giving to him?
Poor guy, keep trying with him. It really sounds like he is off balance right now, so try not to let him climb too much so he doesn't fall & hurt himself.

Yes i have put up his stick so that he cant fall over or anything and actually he hasnt fallen on his back in three whole days! So thats cool atleast he isnt doin that as much. The way he sits is like with his butt next to him insted of behind him. Poor Puff he tries tho. I have found some liquid calicum in a store kinda close to me but its 16 dollars and i have to wait till friday (payday) to get it. But after i get that i feel like i'm doin everything i can 100% to help Puff and now he jsut has to help himself strighten out!

That is good Puff has not fallen on his back the last few days. Is he eating pretty well too?
Good that you have found some liquid calcium in a near by store. That should work fine for him. If you can when you get it, let me know the concentration of it, because he needs it to be dosed for his bodyweight to be effective. Do you remember the brand of it?

Omg everyone i am so sorry that i havent poster in a while i didint have internet and i moved into a new apt so thinks have been busy busy. Um idk where to start but i know i want to start off with a . I wish i could say that puff is lookin better but he isnt now not only does he have the curved back but now he also has curved tail so he really looks like a S. And its startin to affect him he dosent move around much and sometimes his one back leg gets stuck up above his tail cause his tail is right next to him not behind him. I was also thinking do you tihnk the move could have made him upset at all or anything? All i know is after 2 weeks of living here both of my finches died. Just dropped dead one in the morning and one that night. I have no idea why they would have right died unless its someething to do with the new place. Well i hate to cut this short but its pouring and i'm sittin on the porch outaside gettin wi fi on my labtop to update a few things real quick but i promise i'll be back soon!!

Hi,
Im sorry that your finches died and Puff got worse But I do remember at the beginning of Elvis getting mbd he seemed to get worse and then better, and now he can hunt crickets almost normally, so hopefully he will get better.

Are you sing the liquid calcium? It seemed to work for Elvis, after awhile of me giving it to him every day.

Hey everything is going ok with puff right now he isnt doin worse or anything he is doin just ok i am still hand feeding him but he seems happy i have started beiong him outside and he loves it he perks right up he was even eatin the grass so everything is ok right now which is better than worse.

Hello,

I hope Puff is doing better than the other day.
Did you upgrade your UVB light to the Reptisun 10 tube bulb? Did you ever find the liquid calcium? At his stage, the powdered calcium is not going to help him, he can't absorb it well enough.
Have you taken him to the vet for liquid calcium, or tried looking in the stores again for it?
