Beardie turning black.

I had my two beardies housed together since they were babies but just separated them due to Reptar having yellow fungus. We took them both to the vet and he put them both on Itraconazole just incase. Reptar lost his appetite for the first night but seems to be eating better and Chomper now has diarrhea and now looks like he is turning black on certain parts of his body. I don't know if it is because of his medicine or just a part of him maturing since he is a male. Seems like his color on his back may be fading as well. Here are a couple photos for you to judge. It appears to me that the medication is stressing his body and causing the dark coloration. If it persists or worsens during treatment reconsult the vet. He should lighten up after the treatment is finished. Are you giving a pro-biotic?
Acidophiliz+ and Bene-Bac are 2 good pro-biotics. They can help your dragon(s) cope with the medications.

I thought it would be from the medicine as well so I'm going to take him in to the vet tomorrow and let him check him out. I was told to give him meds for 3 days, wait a week and then give it for another 3 days so tomorrow will be his last day. Hopefully he will be okay. :?

They really need a probiotic when on itraconazole. It is a really harsh anti-fungal- it's the only medication that my vet has ever stressed a need for probiotics with- I get probiotics with any medication but the vet was VERY concerned about the itraconazole and advised probiotics twice per day!
