Beardie Transport idea

I thought I'd share this beardie transport idea for the winter months, when it can be downright dangerous to move a lizard outside. I wanted to give my beardie a full checkup before she brumates this winter, so I started with an old sock, about 1/2 filled with rice. I heated that up in the microwave for 1 minute, so that it was warm, but NOT HOT. Then I put the rice sock into a cooler big enough for Pogona to turn around. Finally, I added Pogona on top. When we got to the vet, she was toasty warm. :blob8: It lasted long enough that she was still warm when I returned home with her. This thing will last a long time, especially in a cooler. Pogona likes to cozy up to it, flatten herself against it.

In summer, I'd probably still use the cooler, but not the rice sock.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
