beardie took off scab on beard! "raw now"

hey my beardie mario took off what i call a scap on his beard that was caused from force feeding him. he would go under his hide and scratch and i fig'ed hes trying to go to bed, but i just discoveredhe has some how ripped it off. what should i do to treat it?

Hello,

That is too bad he tore off the scab that was on his beard. You will need to use some antibiotic ointment on it so it doesn't get infected.
Do you have loose substrate? If so you will need to be careful that it doesn't get too much dirt & debris in the wound, or just replace it with paper towels until it is all healed up.
