Beardie threw up

Alice has been sick for quite some time. Last year she was diagnosed with severe MBD, and she’s still recovering. I’ve been giving her CC (and for awhile there Critical Care every other day, which is cc for herbivores). Today when I was syringe feeding her, I had finished giving her two tsp of cc mixed with two tsp of water. I was now giving her a syringe of water since she’s been struggling with dehydration. I do this every time I feed her which is every two to three days (used to be everyday but she was gaining too much weight). She was more fussy than normal today, and as I was giving her the water, she made this awful gurgling sound and threw up almost half of the cc I had given her. Did she choke and as a response throw up?

Tank:
T5 Reptisun UVB
Basking area between 95-100 degrees

Poor girl, it might be just a bit too much at once. Is she breathing O.K. ? If she didn't aspirate she should be fine. Does she eat anything on her own ? Can you post pics of her + her set up ? How did the MBD affect her ?

When I left for work which was around 10 minutes after it happened she wasn’t breathing different than normal. It’s hard because for three years I’ve had her, she’s always taken some really deep breaths at times and looks like she’s struggling then between one breath and the next she’s back to normal, and the vet doesn’t know what’s up. In the past year and a half, probably longer than that, she’s eaten like two pieces of collard greens and 15 hornworms. She won’t accept anything I give her excluding some very rare occasions. I’ve just stopped offering her real food because 99.99% goes to waste. Because of this, she does have some tooth damage on the side I always feed her on which is really sad. When she was diagnosed, she was unable to use her front left leg and it was all swollen. Since then she’s regained her ability to move it but she’s still pretty lethargic. She ended dislocating her elbow and breaking her jaw, but the jaw is healed and her elbow has hardened. Her last X-ray was done sometime in the winter last year and her bones were nearly full again which is some significant improvement from the mush that had been. She still has a slight tremor. When I get home from work, I’ll take some current photos of her and her setup and post them.

O.K, I look forward to the pics. I bet she's ready to come off the feedings and get back to eating like a dragon. She may not have a big appetite but then she's been through a very long ordeal of syringe feedings and if you say she was actually gaining too much weight then you can afford to cut way back on the stressful feedings. That in itself will benefit her.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
