Hi evsryond, I have looked up info online and I've come to the conclusion that maybe she will be shedding her tail soon. I will attach a link with a picture , keep in mind this is my new beardie she is a rescue and is still putting on weight and new to our family. Thanks! http://m.imgur.com/jPH15di

Thanks I was worried about the tail falling off because of failure to shed. Using some safe , digestible vitamin e, it started a shed, thank goodness. I dont know much about her backround except she wasnt taken care of so I was just hoping she didnt have multiple layers of shed backed up on her tail. She has such a long beautiful tail it would be a shame to see it fall off.

I didn't see signs of built up shed in the photo you posted. It looks like it should shed and clear pretty normally.

yeah I understand. I don't know what built up she'd would look like on her, especially cause she off color and her being a rescue I don't have much history on her first year of life, all though she has shed she didn't shed AS MUCH as my Oey did. She is smaller and a different color , so that is why I emphasized the "as much" part. I'm not too worried about her she is getting fatter and she's happier and less skidding now. We love her dearly and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her or for her to be uncomfortable in anyway .

I understand completely. It sounds like she's in good hands and is bouncing back =). Built up shed would be thick and crusty in patches most likely. Give her a shed cycle or two (could take months) and see how it works out. If her appetite is up and she's gaining wait and is active that's a great sign!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
