Beardie tail shrinking

My female beardie got about 1 cm worth of her tail cut off about a week ago and we washed it and kept it clean, but lately her tail has been drying up and pieces of it falling off, and its slowly creeping toward her body. I am worried that if it does get to her body it will kill her. Please help me! Please email me with any advice or care I should provide her. My email address is [email protected].

could you post a pic?

if its spreading then you need to get the vet asap.
