Beardie rescue! Bad News :(

OK so a friend of a friend has a beardie, its only a baby and they currently dont want it anymore as they dont feed it and cant afford it.
Its nearly dead so im thinking of taking it others wise they will just let it die
It doesn't have any heating/lighting and i dont think its been fed in months!!!
The only problem is that i'll have to buy another cage, i was going to use some chest of drawers which i shall take a photo of later + i will have to buy more lighting/UVB and double crickets everytime which will cost alot of money that i dont have. Its also from the wild same as charlie (which is stubid cause they take it from its real home to keep then dont even look after it ) its just not fair on the little guy.
They already have it in a cage so i was going to take it in that cage till i got these chest of drawers up and running, and if i take it, it'll prob have to go tonight and maybe tomorrow with out heat as i have alot on today. do you think the little guy will survive with out heat for a couple of days??? i hate to do it but i got no choice, oh and if so is there anyway i can get it a little heat such as some blankets and stuff???

i didn't end up getting the little guy today (As people were not home :roll: ) But i contacted them and they said i could pick it up tomoz! Hopefully the poor little guy doesn't die tonight i would be in tears if that happened! I shall keep you up to date when i get him

Hey, quick update here!
I have just sorted everything and I'm getting the beardie tonight!!!
Maybe in an hour or so but when I get he/she I shall post some pics...

You can even use a Rubbermaid tub as a temporary enclosure if needed. Fingers crossed for the little one!

Its not even nearly finished yet but we hope by the end of the week that we might finish it! (Fingers crossed)
Getting some glass for it soon, the back board on it should have vents by tonight and the slate will be layed down as well... CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!

I have some really bad news, yesterday we went to pick up our new beardie (which i was soooooo excited about) and the owners tell us that they thought we were not coming so they let it go
I've been so sad ever since and i wish we had of picked it up earlier, oh well, at least its free now!

EDIT: Since we have paid for glass and all other supplies, i have decided that i might buy one, not sure when but hopefully soon

It was recently from the wild... So since i didn't get it early enough they decided to let the poor thing go (Outside) they did not even care about the poor thing
oh, they also said that if they seen it again they would give it to me, as if there going to see it again!!!
