Beardie Questions

Ok so I got me beardie Chewwie two weeks ago and he is finally starting to loose his stress marks and eating a few crickets a day. I know his heat is fine because he is gaping. I'm not too worried about him cuz he is getting better. But I do want to get another dragon and want to know if it is a good idea or if I should wait a little bit? Also how can I get Chewwie to eat his greens he refuses the food I try to hand feed him so I don't k ow what to do! Any thoughts?

Hi. If you get another dragon he can not be house with the one you have. They are very territorial and fight. You will need a whole nother set up. As for greens if he's little then all you can do is keep offering veggies everyday.

If you want to get a next dragon make such that the dragons don't live in the same enclosure as theyre will most likely be battles over territory and the dominant one will get most of the food as well as most of the UVB.Ask for the greens you could try numbing some insects by putting them in the refrigerator and add them in with the veggies making the veggies the majority of the food.Also maybe make the veggies colorful some times that helps .

Yes. Even babies. That is why when you go to a pet store and see nips on the feet and see missing toes, tails. That is why. They can and I've seen where beardies big and small have bitten off limbs. Look up co habitation. You'll see what we are trying to tell you.
