Hey Everyone,
So I just wanted to run a theory by you guys. My beardie, Temeraire, is just over fours months old and I've had him since six weeks. He is settled nicely, and seems quite happy. He will only occasionally ask to be handled (like climb onto my hand when I put it in), but generally seems agreeable to me taking him out and cuddling and letting him explore. I tend to sit and watch TV with him on my chest/shoulder and stroke him down the middle of his back with one or two fingers. About twenty minutes into our cuddling, he will usually poop on me. Even sometimes when he has already pooped that morning (granted he is growing very quickly and eating a lot). I don't think he is doing it out of fear or trying to get away, because he doesn't try to run away from me, and if he moves around it is usually to find a place to sleep, so my theory is that petting him in the way that I am is stimulating his pooping. Thoughts?
P.S. I am trying to train him to poop in the bath by rubing his tummy gently and he will go about 50% of the time in the bath.
