Beardie Not Recovering From Pinworms??

Hello,

About a month ago i noticed my two beardies poops started to look funny, so I decided to have a fecal done just to be certain. The vet said there were a small amount of pinworms and directed me to Panacur and Metronidozol. Later that day she started having diahrea and after a few days it went away. I was directed to give 2 treatments of panacur spaced with a 2 week gap, and 1 time a week give metronidozol. Her poop is still diahrea and she has been on these medications for almost 3 weeks now. Is she not getting rid of the pinworms or somehow reingesting them? I spot clean the poop the second i see it and replace the paper towers, so there is never any feces sitting in their viv for over 30-60mins. I just want my baby to be healthy and not sick.

Hi there, can you post pics of the actual poo ? Sometimes even runny poo is still within the normal + acceptable consistency. Also, their poo can change a bit as they grow.To post pics, look at the right side of this page under " other fun stuff ". Or upload to Photobucket, then copy/paste the img/url here.

You can always take another sample in.....by the way, how is their activity + appetite ?

I could always take another sample in, but I've been unemployed over the summer due to an [unpaid] externship and am EXTREMELY tight on cash. My vet charges 55$ for fecals & IF there is something on the fecal he wants me to pay another 70$ just to weigh her and allow me to purchase meds. Its a total scam, I just want my baby to be better. I have a total of 3, she's my oldest, and the other 2 are perfectly healthy. She has been a little on the lethargic side, but when I approach the talk her head turns, she looks at me, and she still has normal eating. It's simply her bowel movements that have me a little worried. Today She pooped while she was being bathed and it was water/undigested collard greens. I've been using the panacur and Metronidozol as recommended. Any help would be much appreciated, I know Drache613 would have some kind of an idea if (s)he saw this
