Hey guys.
So Itchy, my 4-5 year old beardie is suddenly not eating. It's only started today, but I'm still kind of concerned because it's not like him.
I gave him kale this morning and I had to go out for most of the day. I came back about 5:00 and it didn't look touched. I gave him a couple crickets which he still hasn't pursued and I have a feeling I'll be scooping them outta there at the end of the night. He didn't even touch carrots when I went to give him some of those.
He is acting pretty lethargic too, but he doesn't really look ill at all. He's pooping still. I put him in the bath, to get him to poop because he prefers pooping in there, and usually he'll run around, have a drink, that kinda thing. He didn't move. After his bath, he usually gets to run around the floor of my apartment, and he did that. He ran a bit but was definitely more low-key than usual.
At first I suspected maybe brumation, but I think typically when they brumate, they lie on the cooler side of the tank. He's just been lying on his basking spot (which is sitting at around 96-97*). The crickets were able to even walk on his head, or his front legs, without him flinching. He'll watch them, but he won't go after them. I tried dangling one in front of his face, but he didn't go for that either.
Any ideas?
