My beardie is not eating nearly enough. I was excited the other day when she ate 12 PW, but before and after that day, I am lucky if she eats one or two of whatever she decides. I have the right set up, I have posted about the set up and showed pictures. Temps right, paper towel substrate, all of that.

I give her a bath daily, drinks out of a lid once or twice a day, poops regular, once or twice a day.
I have small to medium crickets, PW, waxworms and superworms. I offer a bit of each, she ignores and/or runs away from everything. She eagerly ate 12 PWs one day. Otherwise it is usually one waxworm and PW, or two of each, or one super. She has yet to eat a cricket. She needs to eat more!

She is 6 months old and 8 inches long. Any suggestions? Baby food? If so what kind. Oh and she wont touch greens or fruit.

im having the exact same problem mine are eating a little more but they arent eating enough at all!
and everything is perfect! what could it be? i think imma let them fast for a day then stay on a constant schedule with them

also try weighing them to keep track of them. "a digital scales at target is like 30 bucks but well worth it"

I talked to Heidi, who I got her from, and she told me the schedule and food she fed her. I did that today and she ate! So I guess I put me on her schedule, lol.

Here is sorta my schedule that I will try to follow.
8am - green salad - fresh water in bowl
3pm - bath
4pm - crickets - fresh water (warm up after bath)
On weekends maybe a bath at noon just cause.

Its all so nerve wracking!! My iguana and gecko ate from day one. Obviously the beardie didnt read the care pages!! Darn Beardie.

Well she hate some crix right on schedule. I will do the full schedule tomorrow. Today I did the 4pm feeding and nothing sooner because I had to spend the day running around getting Cub Scout stuff and smaller crix for her.

About the scale, you can always take them to your pet shop. Most will have a scale and you can weigh them for free!

That is strange a bearded that won't scarf down food when presented. Bearded dragons have a really fast metabolism, especially the young ones, and they will eat everyday if you offer them food. Mine will eat since day one i got her and she ate quite a lot, too. Babies and young bearded will consume at least 100 small cickets in one sitting about 3 times a day. However, their are some that will eat less than this, but still a lot. You will notice as your bearded gets older it will eat less and less, but they will still eat everyday if presented with food. A bearded that will not eat is either stressed out or the temperature in cage is not hot enough. I am willing to bet that it has to do with the temperature not being hot enough which is a common occurrence in the winter time. You can add a few more heat lamps and up the wattage on the bulb until you get the right temperature. You may have to experiment a little with different wattage bulbs depending on how cold it gets where you live to get the right temperature.

110 in the basking and 80's in the cooler side. The tank set up and all that is spot on, I am now mimicing the breeders schedule as best I can and she is eating more.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
